The FellowshipThe Fellowship of the Ring was created at the Council of Elrond. Held in Rivendell, it was a meeting to decide how to counter Sauron and the source of his power: the One Ring. The Fellowship consisted of nine representatives of the main good races of Middle Earth; a number chosen by Elrond to go up against the nine Ringwraiths. Here are also pictures of the journey of the four Hobbits as they travelled from the Shire to Rivendell. |
