Angmar

Angmar lay to the north of the Misty Mountains. It was founded by the Witch-King, leader of the Ringwraiths.

Angmar fought against the three Dśnedain states, destroying Rhudaurand, Cardolan and then finally Arthedain.

Angmar itself was finally destroyed by an allied army of men and elves. The men of Gondor were led by Prince Eärnur. The elves of Rivendell were led by Glorfindel. 

The Witch-king survived the battle, but fled to Mordor for safety. Angmar was no more.
