World War 1 Dogfighting covers the aerial conflict of the Great War of 1914-1918. It was a time of rapid development in combat aeroplanes including monoplanes, biplanes and triplanes. It saw the birth of aerial tactics and the making of legendary aces such as Manfred von Richtofen, the Red Baron.

World War 1 Dogfighting, using the Canvas Eagles rules, was in evidence at the Mitcham venue on Friday night 13th February 2009.
Neil Hughes ran the game with the players greatly enjoying themselves.
