NWA Inc. is a non-profit club for those who enjoy wargaming socially with miniatures, strategy games and role playing games. Wargaming covers a variety of games creating historical and fictional battles on the tabletop.

Wargaming attracts people from all ages and backgrounds. Historical periods including Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Richard the Lionheart, Saladin, Oliver Cromwell, Marlborough, Napoleon and Rommel are played as well as science fiction and fantasy such as Warhammer, Necromunda and Lord of the Rings.

Nunawading Wargames Association Inc. has 2 venues in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.

The Mitcham venue is at the Mitcham Uniting Church Hall on Maroondah Highway (also known as Whitehorse Road). Meetings occur here usually every 2nd Friday from 7pm to midnight.

Plenty of parking is available at the rear of the church or along the service road at the front

Public Transport Access -

  • Mitcham railway station (Ringwood line) is approximately 400m walk.
  • Local bus lines run long Maroondah Hwy with a "bus stop" right out front.
