Sale Night at NWA
Everybody loves a bargain. And there are plenty to be had amongst the trash and treasure that you find at the NWA Sale Night. This one at Mitcham on Friday night 21st May 2010 was no exception as you can see by the many traders and the bring and buy stall. Thanks to John Shaw and Stephen White who organised and manned the club bring and buy stall throughout the night. Because he always takes the photos, John never seems to be in any of the shots.
40K
Two games of 40K at this meeting, with various foes, including the machine-like Necrons.
Crossfire (World War 2)
Crossfire is a World War 2 skirmish game with very interesting mechanics. Some of our members have been having lots of discussion about Crossfire. There is no measurement involved for movement and firing ranges. It is an effective mechanism, but it needs lots of terrain areas to make this work.
DBA
DBA is a good way to get into Ancient and Medieval wargaming as the armies are small and the games are quick.
