NWA Inc. is a non-profit club for those who enjoy wargaming socially with miniatures, strategy games and role playing games. Wargaming covers a variety of games creating historical and fictional battles on the tabletop.

Wargaming attracts people from all ages and backgrounds. Historical periods including Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Richard the Lionheart, Saladin, Oliver Cromwell, Marlborough, Napoleon and Rommel are played as well as science fiction and fantasy such as Warhammer, Necromunda and Lord of the Rings.

Practise for Games 2006, which is the open day to the public for Nunawading Wargames Association Inc. (NWA). The practise night was part of a normal club meeting at Mitcham.

Many of the games that were to be on show at Games 2006 were being tested at this Mitcham meeting. A variety of other games were being played as well.


American Civil War

The Battle of Antietam (also known as the Battle of Sharpsburg) was the first attempt by the southern states to invade the north.

See this battle (along with many others) on display at Games 2006 to be held at the Croydon venue on Saturday 12th August 2006.
