The different troop types of HOTT The are many different troop types in HOTT. Some of the troop types are common historical types like Knights and Spears, however HOTT introduces a range of fantasy types drawn from the works of fantasy authors and film. Dragons, Magicians are common fantasy types but other more diverse types such as airboats, lurkers and sneakers give you a huge variety to drawn on in the make up of your army. Blades – solid well armed and armoured foot soldiers
Spears – well armed and armoured with pointy sticks! Knights – well armed, armoured, with pointy sticks and an impetuous disposition
Warband – just point them at the enemy and let them go! Waaargh!
Shooters- missile troops great for shooting up mounted
Hordes- Do we really have to fight? Lots of cheap cannon fodder
Artillery- boom boom! Behemoths – Big and stompy!
Riders- mounted troops from the Mongols to cowboys & Indians
Beasts – savage creatures with pointy teeth and bad breath
Lurkers – if you go down to the woods today you’ll get a nasty surprise Sneakers- More silent than a pair of Nike executives in a sweat shop! Magicians – Hocus Pocus just don’t get turned into a frog
Heroes – Strong and handsome and never miss when everyone else couldn’t hit a barn
Aerial Heroes – Handsome tough and flying now that’s too much! Cleric- Spoil a magician’s fun Paladin – A mighty warrior, pity they weren’t so god damned goody two shoes!
Airboats – Hey that balloons’ dropping stuff on us! Flyers – float like a butterfly, sting like um well a butterfly!
Gods- Duh! They’re Gods after all Dragons – You know what I mean, big green lizards.
