| 11-Apr-08 | Mitcham Meeting |
|
Have a look below at many of the games being played at the Mitcham venue during this meeting. The Marlburian wars got a run for the first time with Age of Honor in 10mm, and very impressive they looked. Epic 40K was again brought out. This has become increasingly popular at recent meetings. THe Old West campaign continues apace, with 6-shooters blazing and the posses now starting to get some interesting variation in weapons and skills. |
| Age of Honor | |||
Age of Honor is a variation of the popular Fire and Fury rule set. It covers the "Lace Wars" of Frederick the Great, Marlborough, Villars and compatriots. The 10mm figures here look great and give a good sense of the carefully formed ranks of troops from this age. |

| Epic 40K | |||
| The advantage of 6mm figures is that you can get the massed look of real armies at war. Epic 40K allows this and is gaining quite a following at NWA. There is some great scenery in production at the moment which you will be able to see in the near future. | ![]() |

| Flames of War is popular at the club. Although some are collecting new armies in 15mm, many club members have used it as an opportunity to rediscover their existing collections of 20mm figures lurking at the back of the cupboards. | ![]() |
