Charles brought his working Confederate railroad for his American Civil War troops to fight over. Purchased 2nd hand from a model railway show a few years ago, it was made by Bachmann who also produced a Union set.

Some nice armies in evidence for HOTT. Using only 12 bases per army, the rules allow plenty of scope for detailed painting, conversions and use of figures from other game sets.

Two games were being played. A small skirmish amongst the trees and a scenario in Moria of the last stand of the Dwarves. Some of the Dwarves are trying to escape to tell of their brave deeds, while the Goblins and a mighty Balrog try to stop them.

Panzerfaust was the choice of rules tonight for a contest that even included cavalry. The Germans seemed to be getting the upper hand when the photos were taken. 

Brendan is well on the way with his latest construction - a damaged apartment complex from the Underhive. He and James are busy painting figures. This display connects with other scenery for a spectacular setting for the futuristic gangs of Necromunda.

Romans versus Carthaginians were at it again in the long ongoing Punic Wars to determine who would control trade throughout the Mediterranean.

Two 25mm Napoleonic games were in full swing with Prussians, Russians, French and allies battling it out.

The second of the two American Civil War games. This one was being contested by John and John.

Plenty of flags in evidence as the blue and the grey fought over possession of the farmhouse.
