NWA Club DBx Armies

The NWA has purchased various miniatures armies for use by members, primarily to assist beginners and for use in demonstration games & exhibitions. They are available on loan to all NWA members; contact Scott Nicholas 9739 8616 AH, email scottn@alphalink.com.au for details.

Members are reminded that in borrowing these armies, they are responsible for any damage that may occur while in their care, and liable for  repairs and/or replacement if figures are lost or damaged.

15mm DBM Early Byzantine 550AD - 578AD

This superbly painted Early Byzantine army was purchased   from Paul Bertram by the club in April '01. We intend to keep it in excellent condition and expand it with extra figures at a later date. The Early Byzantine list actually starts at 493AD but the cavalry have been based for Cv(S)/Cv(O) which is a post 550AD option. This period covers the Byzantine commanders, Germanus & Narses who both executed & fulfilled the Emperor Justinian's plans for reconquering Africa & Italy from the barbarian hordes.
