Halts and Moves (22/8/00)

Halts and moves are mutually exclusive. No element can take part in a halt and also any tactical or march move in the same bound.

Example: a fragmented group of impetuous Irregular Knights that need to be halted.........

Element "Z" is moved forward (2 pips) to reform the elements into a single group. They now count as a "group" for further March movement, but cannot be halted as a single group since Z has already moved.

To halt the entire group, elements either side of Z must be treated as separate groups and therefore halted at 2 pips each.

The above clarification greatly impacts the ability for impetuous troops to reform into manageable groups.
