DBM/DBA Terrain

Roads

Roads are linear features in DBM that provide movement bonus' for most troops traveling along them (except Light Horse, Cavalry, Camelry & Expendables). The strategic importance of roads is limited. An attacker can place one as an option but it provides the defender with a opportunity to place a BUA in a central sector. They rarely have any impact on a game unless weather turns to "rain" in which case roads become boggy tracks and treated as rough going R(G).

Rubber roads made and sold by Adventurous Spirit. A good example of how well these rubber products look when painted. These roads are avalable in a variety of straight, curved, intersections...etc in 200mm lengths. The rubber make them ideal for laying over over terrain such as hills.

Rubber roads, this time by Miniature World Maker. These are supplied fully painted. While being a lot cheaper that Adventurous Spirit, quality and appearance are lower.

Hand made options for roads, cut from cardboard, painted with the edges flocked. Cheap and quick!
