Marsh

Marshes are treated as difficult going (DGo) and provide concealment for Psiloi within 150 paces (same as Rough Going.) Only defenders can select marshes when deploying terrain, and unless compulsory, players will tend to used better alternatives such as woods or orchards which conceal all troops for ambushes, not just psiloi. This makes them a fairly rare selection by players unless they appear as compulsory terrain items on army lists..

Handmade marsh/swamp, based on cardboard, flocked with a various colours, bits of brush with gloss paint used for patches of water.	An alternate representation for a marsh. Based on cardboard with a fibre type flocking around the edges.
