The template (left) is a "widget" used by many of our club DBM players as measurement tools. They are usually cut from cardboard or plastic sheet and very simple to produce.

These widgets are often handier than rulers or tape measures for getting into those very tight spaces during the heat of battle. The standard 2", 3" & 4" moves are covered with the 40mm side used for measuring ZOD's.

One option we almost tried was to get a batch of 50 gauges laser cut out of 3mm aluminium sheet. The cost came out around AUD$7 a piece. There was not enough interest within the club to make it viable.
