  • Entries and Army Lists required by the 25th March 2005, check <Registration>

  • The rules to be used are DBM version 3.0 dated July 2000 and the official clarifications published by the authors dated 25th March 2001. The 2nd edition  Army Lists and current errata to the lists issued by the authors. The current  IWF Clarifications, together with the BHGS scoring system <click here for sample score sheet> (to be provided by the organisers.)

  • Army lists must be submitted allocating all elements including baggage to a command. The total army size must not exceed 400 AP.  The list must specify the number of element equivalents and demoralisation levels for each command and for the whole army and they must indicate the climate, aggression factor, year, geographical region, general where relevant and all double based elements. Once an army list has been submitted it may only be  altered by the minimum amount necessary to correct any errors discovered by the list checker. The list checker’s decision  is final.

  • The cost of an Allied general may be reduced by 10 points if regular and 5 points if irregular, if this has not already been altered in the army lists.

  • Two selections from the same army list and from the same date and Nationality, dynasty, tribal grouping, geographic, regional and political sub-division (including the same general or leader if this affects troop choice) may be chosen. The decision on which selection to use is taken immediately after your opponent announces his Army including the date and its nationality.   Any incorrect list discovered after a game has commenced (after set up dice have been rolled) must be corrected prior to the next match.  

  • Players must fully define their troops as they are placed on table.

  • Table size is 1800 (6') x 1200 (4') and each player must supply their own terrain pieces, these must be rules compliant, and in accordance with the Guidelines for Fairplay. The umpire will have the discretion to remove items that he deems unsuitable.

  • A trophy will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed players in each event and the World Championships Trophy will be presented to be held by the WORLD CHAMPION for 1 year

  • Admission to the tournament is at the sole discretion of the organisers and their decision on all matters is final. An application to enter denotes acceptance of these rules.
