Michael Grant (left) from South Aust with Polybian Romans, plays Brett Kvisle using Minoans.	A view from behind the advancing Minoan Pk(X) block with Kn(F) chariots covering the flanks. The Roman mounted failed to stand their ground in the open. 10-0 to the Minoans.
Andrew Card (left) with his esoteric Mountain Indians, plays Radek Zeleny using Later Hungarians in the final round.  Andrew was very much the 'dark horse', being ranked outside the top 50.	The Mountain Indian Ax(X) swarm all over the Hungarian right flank. They went on to win this game 10-0 against Hungarians, giving Andrew Card second place overall.
Tony McArthur with Feudal Spanish, plays Ross Dawe from South Aust with Ghurids. Like most of the SA players, this was Ross' first DBM Cancon.	Ross employed the Pk(X) DBE option with Reg generals for his Ghurids. The figures come from Grumpy's range of miniatures.

Patrician vs Patrician, Darryl Hills (left) plays Richard Stubbs. Note the laters use of fortifications with artillery. Guess who won, the Romans!	A close up of Darryl's Auxilia backup up by Kn(F). Darryl went down fighting 0-10.
Greg Russell (left) with Beja, plays Jason Gray using Tulunid. A close fought draw with Tulunid finishing 6-4.	The Beja army with blocks of Bw(I), Cm(S) in column and a sprinkling of Arab LH. The Cm(S) swing away to avoid Tulunid Bw(O).
Martin Morgan (left) with Later Muslim Indian, playing Scott Nicholas using Buyids of Bagdad.	Muslim Indian Bw(I) on the left ward off advancing Buyid Ax(S) in rough going. Both sides lost commands on this flank to finish 5-5.
