Granadine (1232AD - 1492AD). List IV #38. Tom Brake. This army provided a colourful Arab type army with some Western mercenaries to help out. For painting inspiration, both clothing and banners, I relied heavily on Ian Heath’s “Armies of the Middle Ages vol 1”, Osprey’s campaign “Granada 1492” and MAA ”The Moors-the Islamic West 7th-15th Centuries AD”. The figures are basically from an Essex army pack with a few variations thrown in. |
